1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility (18+ Only)

Welcome to OmeRot ("OmeRot", "Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or utilizing any feature of the website located at https://omerot.com, you explicitly confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our incorporated Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

CRITICAL AGE REQUIREMENT: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your country of residence) to access or use OmeRot. If you are under 18, you are strictly prohibited from using this Service. Any use by minors constitutes a willful breach of these Terms.

2. Nature & Description of Service

OmeRot provides an unauthenticated, real-time communications portal facilitating anonymous peer-to-peer video, audio, and text chat between two randomly paired participants or participants matched via user-supplied interest keywords.

Media communication operates via WebRTC technology. Because connections are established directly between end-user browser clients, OmeRot does not pre-screen, censor, or centrally store live conversations. Consequently, you interact with other random users at your sole discretion and risk.

3. User Code of Conduct & Prohibited Activities

To ensure the platform remains secure and lawful, you agree that you will NOT engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors while using OmeRot:

  • Sexually Explicit Conduct & Nudity: Displaying nudity, performing sexual acts, broadcasting sexually explicit material, or soliciting adult services.
  • Harm to Minors: Facilitating, transmitting, or discussing any content involving the exploitation of minors (such incidents are reported immediately to law enforcement authorities, including NCMEC).
  • Harassment & Hate Speech: Bullying, stalking, threatening, doxxing, intimidating, or promoting hatred against individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
  • Non-Consensual Recording: Recording, screen-capturing, archiving, or disseminating another user's likeness, video feed, or chat dialogue without their explicit prior written consent.
  • Scams, Fraud & Commercial Spam: Advertising products, soliciting money, impersonating others, broadcasting commercial spam, or distributing phishing URLs.
  • Automated Bots & Scraping: Utilizing automated scripts, bots, spiders, or headless browsers to access our matchmaking queue or disrupt server operations.

4. User-Generated Content & Immediate Reporting

All video, audio, and text transmitted across the Service is User-Generated Content ("UGC"). You are solely responsible for your own conduct and statements. OmeRot disclaims all liability for UGC displayed by users.

If you encounter a user violating our rules, you must immediately:

  1. Click the in-chat "Report" button to lodge a real-time flag.
  2. Click "Next" / "Stop" to instantly terminate the peer-to-peer connection.

We reserve the right, without prior notice, to immediately suspend or permanently ban any user or IP range that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property & DMCA Copyright Notice

All website design elements, logos, custom CSS, code, branding, and text content published by OmeRot are the exclusive property of OmeRot. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or reproduce our assets without express written consent.

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on our website, please dispatch a formal DMCA Notice of Infringement containing:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the infringing material and URL location.
  • Your full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and email.
  • A statement of good faith belief and statement under penalty of perjury.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR VIRUS-FREE.

7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL OMEROT, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS) ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR ANY INTERACTION WITH OTHER USERS.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OmeRot from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms or your conduct on the platform.

8. Modifications to Terms & Contact

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. Material revisions will be indicated by the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of OmeRot following revisions constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
